Join The Club
Everyone is welcome to come along and join in with our award-winning plays, musicals, pantomimes, and murder mystery dinners; yes, even you!

Below, we've compiled a quick FAQ section but if you have more questions, please feel free to get in touch with us!
Who Can Join?
Our only requirement for joining Bishop Auckland Theatre Society is that you must be at least 16 years old and have officially left school.
You don't need any previous experience, we don't hold joining auditions, and we'll just have a quick chat to make sure that we're the right club for you.
Does It Cost Much?
No, there's a £20 annual fee and that's it.
We'll cover the vast majority of your costumes and props, and we don't charge audition fees or show fees.
Where Do You Meet?
We rehearse at the Randolph Community Centre in Evenwood usually on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 7:00pm. We perform in a variety of venues depending on the production.
What's Expected Of Me?
All we ask is that you're committed to any productions or projects that you're a part of. We're all volunteers here and having everyone pitch in really helps.
What If I'm Under 16/Haven't Left School?
Due to licensing, we do not take on under 16's a members but we do offer under 16s a place in our pantomime chorus - keep an eye out on our social media pages for announcements.
